Sandman, just thought you would get a kick out of those figures. That's a lot of work!
The best part of this story is when their mayor appeared on our state-wide radio talk show, TalkLine (it is very popular and quite influential in politics). The mayor said they only pull over people for at least 15 mph over, and the city would reimbuse the fines for anyone ticketed for less. Well, the phones lit up!! The next hour was nothing but people ready to fax over their tickets for less mph, some for 2 OVER.
They wanted their money back!!! Never heard if they got it.
