That story is kinda weird but there is a big push here in Michigan right now for our cops to specifically write click-it-or-ticket type tickets. I wonder if this is not some multi-state conspiracy to make revenue from a non-point offense as opposed to hurting peoples lives by threatening their ability to drive. I mean, for the most part traffic enforcement is simply revenue generation. An alternative tax so to speak. But if too many people get too many points they can not drive (hence, not work) hurting the overall economy. But the various states still want to tax you without realizing it so the focus on seatbelt tickets. And with "focus" comes quotas. So cops will be looking for ways to write seatbelt tickets. My god, you participated in a conspiracy to defraud the nations justice system. Freakin commie!!!
