Hey...just wanted some peoples unbiased  opinions on the the Grand Prix with the supercharged engine...likes/dislikes any horror stories from friends? Looking to get another ride by the end of summer and like the look...

Great straght line accel. Body design unchanged in years. New design on the way. Handles like a clown car full of cops!

I like the looks of them, and they are pretty quick, but can be made quick with not much cash.....so it has its advantages

Poorly constructed probably yes, but good enough for me. Straight line is pretty good. lookin at a 6.7 to 60 mph, and about a 15 flat quarter. they can be mid-low 14 sec cars with minimal money.

I say screw the GTP and go buy an AUDI. They look so much better, plus it won't have the crappy quality as GM does...

Basically what everyone else said...fast straight line but dont think about takin that thing through twisties. I mean roll body roll! Its almost scary.  One of my friends has one and I've driven it on several occasions. I hate to say it but it feels more solid than my SVT. His GTP will take my SVT up to about 90...they start losing steam really bad when you get near triple digits. Another down side: THEY ARE EVERYWHERE! I live in rural Mississippi and I see at least 6 or 7 a day...mostly driven by old women...just like contours :p Nice cars...transmissions are kind of weak though. and...uh...280 ft/lbs of torque. I've driven them a few times and like them. However most of GM's engines are getting behind the 8 ball in terms of age and technology. Ye o'le pushrod. Just something to remember.

I like them. Nice looking cars. Not crazy about the interior though.

if your lookin for a 2nd car with the same space, similar power, and handling as your tour, look at the vibeGT, if you can stand the looks (i like it, its what the aztec should have looked like) they handle like a dream, and i've ridden in one of the gt's... it aint slow... reckon
