Millbury MA also had a "Little Dig" going on a few years ago, linking the Turnpike, Rt 20, and Rt 146 together. Was similar to the Big Dig in terms of inconvenience. Thought I might mention.
The big joke around Boston is that you go to work one way, but during the day those roads close for the month and you have to find a different way home. Sometimes new roads appear and others disappear within the day!
