I've formed an interesting relationship with a chic at work. She's been gone for two weeks on vacation and last night at work, I told her I would be leaving very soon for the USMC. She voiced her disappointment by asking me out to a movie today.

I'm not sure how I'm going to handle this one...

We don't even really flirt at all and this is the first extra-curricular activity we'll be doing. She hasn't shot any signals my way or anything. It's just kinda awkward because we get along so well at work.

I'd tell her if I were her husband, I'd be troubled by my wife taking/going with another man to a movie, so you don't feel comfortable with this.

Now if she wants to go as part of a work/class/whatever group, that would be fine. But this looks too much like a date for my comfort level.

Besides, hubby might be a homicidal jealous lunatic, and you are not a trained killer just yet
