whats a good online stock trader? i was thinkin about etrade, but is there anything special i need to know about?

I am using Scottrade... Haven't had any problems

there is also something going on there:

If I recommend someone new they will give me 3 free trades and the new person will also get 3 new trades..

They are currently charging $9 per trade...

And most important: no fees for inactive accounts...
