i feel for you man. i was in the same boat for a while. i wanted a girlfriend for the longest time (during hs, i'm a senior, graduating now). i finally have one. don't worry about these people who say you don't need one, i know your situation. also, i wouldn't go to bars looking for anything material. you don't always get the greatest people there. i guess i would need to know more about what kind of things you're involved in and where you're at to give you any solid advice, but here's what i can tell you. maybe i just got lucky, but i met my g/f through band. she was in the same concert band as me (same period). i gave her looks all year, but never said anything. then we went on the band trip to myrtle beach, and i danced (grinded) with her at a "club" that the whole band went to. it was awesome, and i started talking to her once we got back. then i started going out with her almost every weekend, and now she's my girlfriend. unfortunately, this didn't happen earlier as i'm going off to college soon. hopefully we can continue it through college, although i'm not sure because it's kinda far away and she's only a freshman in hs. all i can tell you is, i thought i wouldn't even have a g/f before i got out of hs. i think you have to stop worrying about it. just get involved in some things, and scope out the prospects a bit. if she's right for you, you'll know it pretty quickly. also, don't be too obsessive. women lose interest that way. be wild, but not obnoxious. let them know you're there. talk a lot. oh yeah, and i'm a nice guy too. nice guys always get screwed, but nice guys get the nice girls in the long run.

It doesn't leave alot of time for anything else. I guess I'm just bored tonight, sitting at the house by myself.
