Has the public's view of police officers changed any in your tenure as one? And if so, has it gotten worse or has it gotten better? Just like I thought?
Police officers have been placed into the category you have so described for many years. They were probably generalized as the ?donut eating, coffee drinking, holier than thou, tax collectors on wheels? cretins you talk about in your little quip to Mr. Citizen, even while you were in the academy, right? Then why in the hell did you take the job? Let me guess?. because you love it. Well, then accept the fact that nothing you do or say on this board is going to change the way police officers are viewed. All you have done is reinforce the stereotype that has been created. If you all you are gonna do is quote law, followed by some name calling and your opinions of others, stop posting! It is useless dribble! That is my .02
