The facts I would be referring to are the ones I mentioned in the two links provided. My ponderings on

Though it may come as a surprise to you, I have no qualms with good, honest, fair, and objective law enforcement officials.
I grew up with a best friend whose dad is one. Other family friends were in the trade. I've received a couple of deserved speeding tickets in the past--at least 5 years ago--and was very well impressed with the level of professionalism, courtesy, and concern for safety that I received.
The ones I
do have a problem with are those with an ego sized inversely proportional to their objectivity and courtesy.
