Gas isn't always cheaper on the post. Also, I've compared many times and have proven that, without a doubt, the gas on the post isn't the same quality. Worse MPG. Translation - I burn more fuel so any cost benefit is nullified by the fact I'd have to buy more.
These are all things you have that us in the civilian world do not. Do not complain about not being able to support a wife and family as those are your responsibilities. You married and had kids so its up to you to afford them. Marines have a policy where every soldier who enters must be single, correct?
