lol Trapps, I hear that- only I'm just starting. Next year I will have 2/4 in private school, $1800/yr for the first, $1200/yr for the second. Good thing my church kicks in $500/yr per kid, or we couldn't afford it....

Around a pathetic 14k/year, I work for Nike as one of two people responsible for getting footwear to the floor, merchandising it, deciding what goes where, and I'm responsible for all markdowns, at the factory store here. A fun job with a great crew, but damn the pay sucks for the work I do! I barely pay for my tour (330/month, +207 insurance) add to that rent, food, and I'm a full time student, and damn life sucks! Anyone have a job? lol I think I'm headed places though, I simply need to find my groove, and I think even in college i'll be making plenty before I graduate

-Andy Andy, supposedly 1-4 families in the DC area make over 100K DC Incomes regards,eugene[/b]I don't doubt it! You have the richest black population in the country and you need almost that much to pay for a nice house near the city and pay insurance. I pay 525 for my apartment and 200 in insurance. Not to mention gas, and other costs of living. I love this area but it is very expensive! -Andy

I live in crappy Erie, Pennsylvania. Our unemployment rate is about 10 percent right now, higher than the national average by far. The state of PA is so pathetic that they air a commercial on TV, showing a cartoon character that stresses to this kid that he shouldn't move out West, that "everything he needs is in Pennsylvania, like good jobs, a great apartment, and no earthquakes!". Yeah, right, you need a good job first (Not possible in Erie, at least for computer technician) to get the good apartment, and we get our share of earthquakes, so that's BS.
All in all, I don't plan on staying in this state for long. PA has nothing for anyone in the computer market. I see about 1 job in the classifieds a month for computers; the ad number is 2050 in the employment classifieds for Computers in the Erie paper, and you'll always see the listing jump from 2040 to 2060 every day for weeks. It's so lame.

Last year, working two or three jobs at a time, and working sometimes 90 hours or more a week, I made $42000 before taxes. This year, with just Wally World paying me I made $25000. That's canadian though so figure about $16000 USD... Man I'm f'n poor for a 23 year old...
