Windows are cool, bed shaking is another story.

IL has no exception that I am aware of for mods to the exhaust of motorcycles that allow them to be louder than OEM. VA law is not very clear on this,
Quote:
§ 46.2-1050. Mufflers on motorcycles.

It shall be unlawful for any person to operate or cause to be operated any motorcycle not equipped with a muffler or other sound dissipative device in good working order and in constant operation.

No person shall remove or render inoperative, or cause to be removed or rendered inoperative, other than for purposes of maintenance, repair or replacement, any muffler or sound dissipative device on a motorcycle.

(1976, c. 65, § 46.1-302.3; 1989, c. 727.)

There is likely some case law in both states that establishes legal proceedure...

I like Harleys, but they are way overpriced for the technology level IMHO. This is the bike I would buy if I had the money... laugh anyone care to make donation to my VTX fund?
