As was mentioned earlier, Harley's are not loud at all. The noise you hear is aftermarket pipes. It goes with the image. I do have to admit though, some of the pipes on those bikes are a bit too much for my tastes. I like the sound of a harley, I just don't care for it to be shaking my bed at night. Windows are cool, bed shaking is another story.
