I'd say I like to drive, I put 900 miles on my car in 2 weeks and I've gone no where!

Me too, love driving the 'tour. Funny thing is, I now have a motorcycle too and really enjoy riding. But, the Motorcycle will always take 2nd to driving the car. I have friends that question why I sometimes choose to drive to work rather than ride on a nice day, and I just tell them I love to drive my car.

I would love to drive just to drive.. but I never have spare time to just drive - so every time I am drivin I am acutally going somewhere... plus I dont really like drivin my protege so i try to get where I am going as soon as possible so I dont have to spend anymore time in the car! Maybe when I am a CSVT owner this will change

Bought it with 129827 on the odo. It died at 156081. BuT nOw I hAvE a CoNtOuR!!!
2000 Contour Se Zetec 2.0L No go mods yet, but a couple of show mods -Pilot HyperWhite Fog lights -Blue courtesy/dome lights -Reverse Indiglo Gagues from www.procarparts.com -Headlight/Climate control knobs, vents, glove box handle, and "Contour" dash badge painted in Silver Frost to match exterior -Ventguards -20% tints -Aiwa CDC-X317 CD player 45 watt per channel piping through stock (ick) speakers -Knauberized. -coming soon: Amplifier/bazooka bass tube (too lazy to put them in), Arctic blue headlights.

I miss my Contour, I used to go out and take it for a drive 30 minutes at a time, just to cruise. I love the Daytona's don't get me wrong, plus scaring the bejeezus out of a Camaro z28 or Stang GT is always fun, but the Daytona just lacks the refinement of the Contours....
