We had to delete here home account and create a new one! As for the Hotmail, there is a setting that will only allow messages to be sent to you if the person sending it is in your address list!

Some people use it some don't, there are advantages either way!

I don't get the FREE PORN messages, but my wife does. The spam I get is mostly "great offers" and other people tying to sell me sh*t I don't want. I wanted to change my e-mail address, but I couldn't find a way to do it without starting a new account.[/b]
With Hotmail, you can,

Choose how long you would like to hold on to 'junk' mail before it is deleted, then click OK.
Immediate Deletion Delayed Deletion
Messages identified as 'junk' will be deleted immediately, never reaching your account. 'Junk' messages will be filtered to the Junk Mail folder and deleted after 7 days.

I think you may have to create a new Hotmail Account, send everyone your new address and then leave the old one for a month or so so that it gets deleted by Hotmail.
