Lets here some opinions! Personally out of the 3 I've owned the Contour is by far the worst, but I'm sure there are a lot worse out there!

I used to details cars one summer, I hated BMW's. It takes as long to clean the brake dust off the wheels as it does to do the rest of the car. That and those 12 passenger Ford Econoline Vans.

My '95 SHO is by far the most difficult car to wash - it seems bugs bond with the big plastic front end and tar refuses to come off of my rocker panels. It often takes me longer just to wash the nose of the car than the rest of the car combined!

My '91 SE-R was also a PITA - similar problems to the SHO. I wonder if it has anything to do with white paint... laugh

The Mystique is mostly hard to buff with the buffer, with all the grooves in the rear bumper and stuff. But the 4Runner is hardest to wash it's tall and you not only have bugs on the front but on the paint above the windsheild.

1974 Chevy Vega. The body tucked in so much at the bottem that the area behind the front and rear wheels was always covered with dirt and road tar. When you tried to wash around the windows (especially the rear window on the hatchback), you'd cut yourself on the sharp rusted-out edges (only if the car was more than six months old).

1982 Volkswagen Jetta. The black plastic bumpers seem to absorb dirt into the texture, requiring massive ammounts of time and pressure, the carwash wont do it, you need to scrub it with a floor brush to get it all off. now for the best part, the front, rear, and all four fender flares are built of this nice stuff. I looks really good when it is clean but at all other times looks like crap. I found the contour fairly nice to clean, save for all the dust that gets inside the doors making a fine coat on the painted sections inside the door openings.

My Focus took me the most time when I would wash it. I had to make sure every square inch was spotless.

The `80 Ramcharger I own used to be the worst. Its body was so rusty you would always end up with a cut or too. A 7'5" roof height made it hard to clean the top too. How to solve the problem? Never wash it! laugh

The Contour wins, bu tonly because od the damn windshield and rear window...getting down to the very bottom on the inside to clean, and do it streak free, is nearly impossible!!
