I said before that I move over for the faster driver, just not when that driver wants to ride my a$$!
A little respect goes a long way!
I don't want to be a devil's advocate here, but I run into this situation enough where it might be worth discussing.
It appears you'll move over for a faster driver unless you feel he's been tailgating you, at which point you will hold him up. That's passive aggression.
Not trying to be a prick, just pointing it out.[/b]
Ok, here we go......
If you are going that fast that you need to pass, why ride someones a$$ to get passed?
Hey, was that a rhyme?
If I see someone coming up from behind, I will move over, but if that person is just flying, one minute no car then whamo, a car is behind me, that is a different story!
One more point, most drivers know that, even doing highway speeds, the chances of the person you passed meeting up with you again when the trafic is more congested or at a trafic light is quite high! :p
So what have you really gained by speeding past the other drivers? Ooooh you are ahead by one or two car lengths!
All that speeding may get you is, a speeding ticket, killed, into a wreck, or mmmm 2-3 minutes ahead of those that chose to travel at or near the speed limit! :p
Is it worth it in the end?
