Check this out...downloaded from the Navy Academy Prep School website.
"General Requirements
Candidates for NAPS must be of good moral character, not married, not have children (nor pregnant), and be at least 17 years of age, but not yet 23 by the start of plebe summer at the Naval Academy. The superintendents of the respective academies determine admission standards for their candidates".
NAPS So I guess the big question is...when do you turn 23?
btw I've been the Navy for 19 years now. I work at RTC Great Lakes, IL. Let me know if you need any more info.
