. Marine Bootcamp is a joke compared to what you see in the actual field as a grunt. I am a former Marine too that served during the Gulf War (ending) with the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit.
Joining the Marines takes a special person indeed, but it's not that hard if you are the person that dont let mental games get to your head.
