If you have to have a sig, I vote for Perry's sig as the role model for all others. There should be a 2 word maximum.

I am relaxed,,,I just dont see the usefulness or the importance of someone busting chops on signatures...who cares about the bloody things...If you dont like a long sig, dont read it, bypass it...Its the attitude of wanting to have things one's own way, that bugs me, and people jump on any ol' bandwagon,,,Before he mentioned the lameness of long signatures, did anyone think it was that important? Its that kind of control freak thought process that is bothersome. Instead of ignoring something that annoys him, he has to bring out to forum, and get others to agree with him. I think maybe THAT is some kind of compensation for lack of something, that is worse than a long signature!
He's chaaarging!!!...(add scottish accent)...

I haven't gotten around to setting up my Profile yet, but long ago created a simple .jpg to display all of my mods on. I asked for opinions on it before putting the finishing touches on it an uploading it to my profile. One of the most solid pieces of advice came from Antonio (Thanks again ). During one of the first runs of my pic, I had a place for future mods. His comment was something along the lines of: I would lose the "Future Plans" section. I inquired a reason and he explained. He was shown an old thread that had him saying that he would have a S/C and a bunch of other high dollar mods by a certain time. This time had long since passed and he didn't have these mods done b/c he had since changed his plans. The point is, if you talk a lot of **** and never back it up, people think you are all talk and no action. I personnaly don't want people to think this of me, I would think anybody with even the tiniest bit of self-respect would not want this. Needless to say, the next version of that picture was w/out the future plans section. I have since added everything I was planning on adding, but that is not the point. The point is, unless it is already on your car, we can wait to hear/read about it until you get it installed, its called the element of surprise! Hey Redhawk, thanks for bringing this up, it has actually gotten to the point of bothering me, but never thought about putting a poll up ! 5 Stars for you !

For a LOONG time many people have complained about long signatures. And this isn't the first thread to be started in recent weeks regarding long, obnoxious signatures. There have even been threads started directed at certain individuals asking them to trim their signature. The only point a long signature has now, since we have a kick ass profile system, is to brag and say "look at me". Ego feeders. Judging by how vehemently you are defending your signature, you must feel like your ego needs a little stroking from the masses. If someone wants to know about your car or your stereo, they can track down the information. There's no need to show it off in every single one of your posts (especially when you post three or four times in one thread!).

If it is not on your car then it is serving no function, therefore most people would probably not care since they cannot ask you questions about it, since it is not on your car.
