Well I just wanted to let everyone know what is going on with me. On my way home from Spring Zing the car completly died in Detroit. I called Trapps and he was able to bring me a jack so we can replace the fuel filter. I had purchused a new filter a few days before to replace at SZ. Anyway Corbett, Gr8ride and Anastazzi(sp?) showed to help out on the installation of the filter. Everything was fine and I thought the car was fixed, so we were on our way until like 15 miles down the road the was sputtering and it died again. I was able to make to a gas station and I had the car towed to Gr8ride's house. That night we went out just looking for stuff to do, and Corbett and Gr8ride showed me and Nicole the area. The next day Monday May 6th(my birthday by the way. 22  ) I brought the car to the dealership to what the problem was. They claim the bat intake pipe was the cause I was like whatever. They said they fixed and took 83.00 from me. We left MI and as soon as we got to Ohio the car was sputtering again. I was at first going on an average 100mph but I had to drop down to 60-65 because anything above that would cause the car to sputter. Got home around 4:30 am. Could not even sleep at around 7:00 am brought the car to a local dealership and the told me what I knew was with the car... the fuel pump. The service writer said the pump was not making enough pressure anymore and he was surprised that I made it from detroit. 5 hours later the fool Had to nerve to come back with a $1300 bill to replace the pump. I was like whatever I am under warrenty( had about 3 miles left) he checked it and said everything was all gravy except I had to pay for the pump( 317.00) I was like okay whatever. The damn warrenty was a chevy one, so I am surprised it even covered anything. Got the car back later that day and on the way home I turned my HID's on. I smell a burnt rubber smell. I am think my tire is rubbing in the rear... nope. Come to find out the driver side HID bulb and ballast has melted. I was like great what can happen next. About 20 mins later the local state trooper wants to do his job and pull me over. He said mister wright your car is too low and your tint is too dark. He gave me a repair order to fix the tint and to raise my car(WTF!!). So needless to say I was very stressed out. I called my job and I was told they laid off 300 people a few of them were close friends. Now I am feeling guilty because I was having fun while people with families and **** were losing thier jobs. What am I doing now?? Well I have been posting my pictures all over the internet and it has paid off to a certain degree. I am the works right now with a local audio shop for a full sponsership. So look for a few surprises in the near future. Well that is really all that is going on. I know a few people were concerned about me which made me feel good, because that means a few of you guys actually like me. Anyway thanks, Trapps, Corbett, and Gr8ride for helping me out in MI. Without you guys I would have been in some deep ****. I would also thank Jim(BeyondloadedSE) for being patient on those stickers. Also CAPCEG for all thier help. (Guys I think it is time for another cookout.) Also up there in MA I would like to thank Hugo, becuase he cheered me when I was feeling really down. Aight I am out. Later. -Antonio

Sorry to hear about all your bad luck, man. Hopefully your luck will start turning around soon.... BTW, the fuel pump on my SVT went out around 18k about 3 months before I sold it, FWIW.

I didn't think I had seen you on the boards as much since SZ. Sorry to hear about your bad luck, but glad to hear everything is all good now! Thats another thing kicks ass about the CEG. There are always members/friends to help out in time of need, even if they just met you or don't know you. I don't see how your car can get any more PHAT than it already is, but I'll take your word on it! Keep us posted on how everything works out!

Sounds like the boat is starting to stop rocking. Hope everything ends well. I can't understand a cop giving you a ticket for having your car too low? That's insane.
Well, after all that, I take it there's a slim chance your coming to the National Meet now?
Good luck with the sponsorships!

Daymmm,
Sorry to hear the bad luck. It sounds like the dealer that replaced the fuel pump was trying to bone you.
$1300 for a fuel pump. What are they charging $500/hour for labor? The pump is accessible from the back seat.
Sounds like they were trying to bone you good.
Glad it's working out for you now.
Don't sweat the Haters.
