Hot peppers cause the brain to release endorphins into the blood stream. Endorphins are addictive.[/b]HAHAHHAHAHAA!!!!! YESSSS!!!!
There was a study done back in I think 94-95 by some australian university that figured that out. I get a MASSIVE high when I eat some "Mario Hot" wings at this place in Houston called "Wings 'n' Things". The place it run by some mexicans. When I order it three or more people come out from the kitchen just to see who the hell ordered it. When they see it's some skinny white guy, they stand in awe.
I have a few indian friends that I go to REAL indian cuisine and chow down. The little red peppers they use to "flavor" the rice, I eat those :p
The craziest thing I can remember, is taking a dried habanero, letting it soak in 3oz of VODKA for a few days, then making a martini with it and the vodka it sat in plus a little more vodka. Hmmm...... You can feel the warmth go all the way down to your stomach, then down more later. If anybody wants to try some at the National Meet, let me know ahead of time.
Absolut Habanero!
