Well, today was corny.. We spent the day training, but my boss felt the need to do 2 of these dumb exercises.
The first one was just to stand up, introduce yourself, and then describe yourself using an adjective that starts with the first letter of your first name. "Hi, I'm Tony. I'm a tool" I dunno, I forgot everyone's name within 2 minutes, but I'm not good with that stuff
Later on, we were broken up into 6 groups of 3. 3 groups were told to come up with 5 examples of good communication, the other 3 groups had to give examples of bad communication. She was trying to relate this to our work, and it did give us a chance to talk with some of these other people.. So it wasn't too bad, I guess.
I think the rest of the week is just training, she never mentioned us (me and the other leads) having to do this ice-breaker stuff. And then I go to Toronto next week to meet with the company that we're taking the work over from. Fun.
The only good news I got was that I don't start night shift until the 10th of June, so I can enjoy my life a little bit longer.
