It's not that bad- Heck, the 3.8L V6 even has the same IMRC system that is on every V6 Contour. Almost kissing cousins, from a certain point of view. You can't really feel the IMRC on the Windstar kick in, though- probably because the 3.8L is only a 2V vs. the 2.5L 4V.
