I'm not saying that people shouldn't be cared for. It's just the Federal government is probably the least efficient and effective organization to do this.

The war on FILL IN THE BLANK has generally been ineffective. It really doesn't matter if you fill in the blank with Drugs, Crime, Poverty, Ignorance, Racism, you get the idea, generally results in disaster when it is fought by the federal government.

I do believe a war on terroism can be effective if we delegate the other issues back to where they can best be handled, at the state and local levels.

The President's first job is the Command-in-Chief.

Yes I do understand where you are coming from. I believe the best way to help people is to get the federal government out of the "helping" business and return to people helping people instead of the compassionate Federal RobinHood.

I'm not anti-compassion, I'm anti large federal government. To characterize that as being uncompassionate is not logical.

I have more faith in people than that.
