Approximately 1 percent of the national budget goes towards welfare, while 50 percent go towards bombing countries that are already destroyed. So looks like not very much of your tax dollars are going towards the poor in this country, instead they are going towards killing families and creating homeless in other countries. Feel better about yourself now?
And no I do not believe we should put up drinking fountains in the desert.
