If swapping memory don't work, remove the heatsink (but be carefull) and check the processor chip to make sure it isn't cracked or crushed.

http://web14.compaq.com/falco/sp_list.asp and enter information for your computer. It will list all available diags and drivers and BIOS upgrades.
