No one has been pushed down the steps since, but it was shortly after when we started seeing the old man around the steps.
If you think my place is bad... my dads house is worse. Occurances happen so often that it is more annoying then freaky.
As for the Hawaii "pushing" that is so true! I have a coworker who was stationed there for like 15 years and I remember him telling very similar stories about being pushed into his bed and not being able to move and when he was "allowed" back up he would see women in ancestoral native dress standing there staring at him and they would disappear.
-Mark mark is your family cursed??? two houses haunted??? BTW that's some scary sh t.... I would of moved out if I saw someone get throwen down the stairs...

for those who don't know, Gettysburg is famous for its ghost stories
i used to build stages and we did some at gettysburg, in the morning the fog is real thick and you see swirls in them. the swirls seem to run into each other and then disappear. it's weird b/c there was never any wind, but the field would be covered with swirls.
also, i went on a feild trip to the ford theater in DC (where Lincoln was shot) the tour guide told us how they took him across the street to the room where he died. she says the night before an ex-confederate soldier was in the room and heard moaning and people sobbing and crying. he told the clerk when he checked out and the next night Lincoln got his room and died. Damn confederates!

Well this story doesn't compare to any of the others on here but it sure freaked me out. One night, while I was lying in my bed I noticed that the other side of mattress was sinking in. It looked like someone was on all fours or something. There were four indentions as if someone was crawling on my bed. I know this really happened because I was wide awake w/the TV on. It scared the s*** out of me, well not literally but I was shakin'.

Oh yeah, I think my bf's house is haunted too. The doors seem to open and close by themselves and everyday his sisters electric toothbrush is turned on. About a month ago, we were lying in his bed when we heard something that sounded like glass cracking. We couldn't figure out what it was so we just forgot about it. A few nights later I was lying there w/the light on and noticed that glass on the light fixture was cracked right down the middle. Oh and this is a fairly new house.

Ok here is a question. Have any of you spoken to the ghost? Not a conversation but just talking to it and if you have did things change at all?
We always acknowledged the ghost where I worked. He seemed to like it. Like I said he was "big brother" like protective of all the girls that worked there. Sometimes it was just a little creepy but, most of the time it was nice.

Seems like I am the only one who has never experienced the paranormal....

Originally posted by Pac Man: There's an animal that lives in the woods around here... my friend's house is right in front of the woods and during the summer this thing screams during the night. The thing is that its screams sound like a little child screaming. First time I heard it I thought someone was being murdered... Someone tell me they know what kind of animal this is!! I watched a show on either Discovery or TLC about 2 weeks ago about something very similar to this called The Jersey Devil. I don't know which side of PA you're on, but it could be the same thing! The other night my kids were watching a movie in my room. I told my son to hit the sack when the time came, turned off the light and TV and decided to leave my daughter asleep on my bed until I came back upstairs (she's 2 1/2). About 11 o'clock she starts screaming "Daddy!!" really strangely. I go upstairs, hit the lights and pick her up. Before I even had the lights turned on she was saying "Daddy! Look!!". After the lights were on she kept saying it and pointing just outside my bedroom door in the hallway. The next day she told me she saw a ghost. I don't know where she learned about ghosts.....? The house is only a year old. Another story: When I was in high school a buddy and myself were out on a Friday night driving the backroads (I grew up on Southern Oklahoma). We were passing all the regular tailgate party spots in hopes of finding some people. On one particular road we thought we saw reflections of tail lights ahead where we know people party. I didn't want to run over anyone, so I slowed down quite a bit as I closed in on them. We were maybe 50 yards out when a "pair" of the red lights moved just like eyes would if someone turned to look directly at you! I slammed on the brakes and the car came to a stop at about a 30 degree angle to the road. My lights were now shining into the trees, but I could still see the reflections! I turned off the headlights to be sure and I could still see the reflections! Not only that, but they started moving as if they were attached to something walking our way!! We got the hell out. We came back about an hour later to look for tracks (it had rained quite a bit earlier that day). We walked over 1/4 mile of road and never found anything! I still get chills telling the story. Watch The History Channel. They have a show called History's Mysteries that'll give ya goose bumps

no worries. both versions have "holes" in their plots, but there must be SOMETHING there for the story to have last so long Are you calling me a liar?
