You know Steve, I "wasted" my 1000th post on something "real"!! You sir are the waste of time... Do you realize that the only way to gain the most benefit from that type of setup is to spend anywhere from $600 - $3500 for other mods to fully gain the most out of it?? No I didn't think so. Hmm... read the article you supplied moron... 80mm Mass airflow sensor, UDP, hmm... maybe more aggressive Extrude Honing of the intake.. Please don't ignore the fact that it's a 3.0L SHO motor mentioned in that article.. Something that had lot's of torque right out of the box.. Not a slouch like ours. Please do the right thing and keep your expert opinion to yourself..

You are the weakest link! GOODBYE!

Dom, firstly you didn't email me back about the IAT mod. Please do so. smile

Secondly,I am not here to comment about either yours or anyone elses post. I just wanted to take the opportunity to ask if anyone wanted to take two stainless tips off my hands. They're 2.5" in 3.33" out, dual wall and require welding. I just want what I paid for them, so for $45 I'll ship to whoever wants them. here a pic of the tip:

I didn't end up using them cos we bought mufflers with tips already on them.

PS they're still in their box

Re-read the ****ing article, you dip****. Lemme help you with that by reposting the last paragraph:

Written by someone who knows what the **** they are talking about:
The truth is, if my recommedations are followed (as per the guidebook, which is why I wrote it), you'll end up with a big smile on your face every time you drive the car, and you WILL absolutely, positively feel the power difference....there's no mistaking it. With the true dual setup, my car had more low speed torque than factory (much more), and had top end for days. If you are not an experimenter, than don't go the experimenter's route. It matters not to me what exhaust you have on your car, so I feel pretty objective where this is concerned. If I had a SHO and I wanted it to run as best as possible for minimum dollar, I would get a true dual exhaust with aftermarket cats ($600), 80mm MAF, LPM, and UDP. With that you've spent maybe $1200 and you'll have a fun toy to play with which will also have the virtues of being practical, economical, and dependable.

Now explain to me (you cock gobbler) where it states that "the only way to gain the most benefit from that type of setup is to spend anywhere from $600 - $3500 for other mods to fully gain the most out of it?". Quit pulling your boyfriend?s cock out of your mouth to post such Jantastic! revelations when you have nothing to base your accusations with.

Here?s a clue, you god damn poodle rooter. ANY engine that is of a ?V? design (read: two separate cylinder banks) will benefit from a true-dual exhaust setup over a single pipe.

Irrelevant point. Any properly designed exhaust setup will give you increased scavenging and flow velocity, giving you more torque. Guess what, more torque for our ?slouch? motors is a GOOD THING!

Try a little harder next time to post something worthwhile. I was so, so ready to end this thread 2 posts ago, but your *****-ass just couldn?t leave well enough alone.

I?m not done here by a long shot. Honestly, though, dealing with assheads like you on a daily basis is starting to take its toll on my Chi.

"Blow it out your ass Steve".....

I'm not kidding either.

And the immature rants show exactly why you are so popular.

Dom

P.S. You made it into the a$$hole moderator "Hall of Fame".. You are worse than Perry by a long shot.

wow, perry AND Steve called an a$$hole in the same post!!!! something of a record I'm sure.

Anyway, this has degraded far beyond good-natured debate about true duals into name calling etc. (though I must give Steve props for his creative use of names in the said name calling)

My personal opinion is that a well designed true dual setup is by far the best choice for any V-type engine, this comes from my own knowledge and study (I do have a BS Mech. Engineering) and from lengthy conversations w/ Mr. Haines on the matter.

It's all about balance.
