I don't get your logic here.... You're saying that true-duals have a negligible increase in HP/TQ, even though the most restrictive part of the factory exhaust is the cat FORWARD? Just looking at your setup it is clear that, other than an improvement in sound quality, there isn't really any advantage with this setup over a standard catback (Borla, Bassani). True duals will give you increase power simply due to having totally separate exhaust paths from each manifold/header all the way back to the tail pipes, without having to deal with a front Y (point of restriction) and a single cat (point of restriction). In addition, a true-dual with a properly place crossover nets the benefits of greatly improved scavenging. Yet your setup does none of the above, and simply adds weight to what is still a "quasi-dual" setup. You even admit this when you say.....

Trust me... My system weighs alot more than the factory SVT system due to the fact that the piping I'm running and selling is true thick wall aluminized steel..

Sorry to hear that. Fact: acoustical properties of a high-grade stainless are far superior to mild grade steel (aluminized or not). Not to mention the tensile strength of stainless over a mild grade, and the fact that stainless won?t be laying on the ground in 2 years in a salt-state?.

Not that paper thin stainless like Borla and Bassani.

I'm not gonna speak on behalf of Borla, since I haven't used their products in YEARS. However, tell Bassani they're using "paper thin" stainless and they'll slap you on the ass and call you Betty, ?cuz they'd make you their *****. The pipe used in this:

catback is far from "paper thin" (I'd elaborate, but I don't have the specs in front of me, sorry). Try made in the USA, T304 stainless. Regardless, it is far stronger than any run of the mill aluminized crap that passes as exhaust pipe these days.

Those guys with true duals have more problems than us... Only becuase the added weight is ripping hangers and also vibrating and rubbing against the undercarraige on hard turns..

I have yet to hear about this, got pics/real evidence?

Let?s wrap this up. Your setup has ?improved sound? over stock and ?doesn?t have rasp/drone? like some aftermarket catbacks. Your power improvements are on par with the aftermarket catbacks. That said, your setup is much, much heavier than the ?quasi-dual catbacks?, while offering no real performance advantage. Do it all the way, and actually benefit from the extra mass hanging from your undercarriage.
