Rara, point taken.. I think the duals on a Contour are a little overkill TBH. The gains are so minimal and the added weight of the system would make the gains negligible to a good cat back system. Trust me... My system weighs alot more than the factory SVT system due to the fact that the piping I'm running and selling is true thick wall aluminized steel.. Not that paper thin stainless like Borla and Bassani. Those guys with true duals have more problems than us... Only becuase the added weight is ripping hangers and also vibrating and rubbing against the undercarraige on hard turns.. I've looked into that very carefully and discounted the idea due to these restrictions. My system I had to add an extra hanger(which is already there) to accomodate the extra weight. Here's a pic of the pipes themselves.. Trust me, If you ask Mike(FUseface) he'll attest to the weight.
I do not consider myself right on any occasion... and I don't expect everyone to agree with my opinion - But I know a thing or two about this and my opinion should at least count for something. I'm here to teach people with my knowledge.. Not to brag about what I've done and revel in "losers" glory.
