Cardoc, you hit my point exactly. I was not trying to "diss" your exhaust at all, it's just not the right sound for me (I did hear one of yours in person, at least I am pretty sure it was one of yours
) I do agree that a dual setup is the way to go for optimium on an SVT, though.
My whole point was that opinion differs, and not to get bent out of shape when someone doesn't agree w/ your opinion. My exhaust setup certainly would not be perfect for everyone, but it is exactly what I was looking for sound-wise, and some performance increase (though how much is unknown, as I have not had it dyno'ed since the cat-back went on)
btw, for those that don't know, I am running a similar to stock setup, but w/ a 18" Vibrant resonator, running back to a custom rear Y, out to two Vibrant mufflers w/ 3.5" rolled lip, slash cut tips (kinda like borla tips, but angled)
the sound is very low, but not too loud, nice and throaty, but not really any drone. And there is no rasp at all (this was the really important part for me) again, no dyno, but I estimate approx. 7-8hp gain (enough to feel, but nothing big)
