I sold my SVT exhaust to a member of our Ohio CEG... Now not that I don't think it doesn't sound too bad.. But it doesn't sound the same at all. And that sounds is probably not what he is looking for. Anyhow.. Those bends are there for a purpose trust me.. If you spend any amount of time under the car you'll know what I mean.

P.S. Wanna hear what an SVT Exhaust sounds like on an SE?? Go here - Http://www.fordcontour.org/vipermed.mov

Should point out that the 'tour in question is an ATX.

opinions are fine, let's just not get all upset when we don't agree on our opinions.

fwiw, I personally didn't much care for the sound of Cardoc's setup (on NYnicksSVT previously) nor do I like the sound of a stock SVT system w/ out the resonator.
I am very picky about how my exhaust sounds, and I think I nailed what I wanted w/ my setup (I swear, I will have sound clips up someday :)) but it wouldn't be for everybody.

btw, I have a stock SVT exhaust for sale, about $75 and it's yours to pick up. You would need to re-use your flange at the y-pipe though, and have it welded back together (I had to cut it to get it home in the car frown )

It's all about balance.

Ok RARA FWIW I'll give you this.. You might have strict tastes.. But don't judge my system by what you hear.. It doesn't sound the same in person, nor would yours in clips. So I'm not going to judge yours or anyone elses for that matter... The SVT exhaust on the SE didn't sound right to me.. (at all)... and that's my opinion.. And you can take that for what it's worth.. If nothing it's no loss to me. Let's be real "frank" here.. everyone has their own tastes and not everything suits everyone.

Dom cool

And to be perfectly honest - You're the first person to say that about my exhaust.. So feel special!

Hey SVT/SHO Society guys how does the exhaust on my SE sound. What's that you say? Kick arse smile It sounds nice and deep with my SHO Shop y pipe. I have a res less Dynomaxed stock system before this one. I wanted the dual look. I lost a little sound with the SVT but they sounded similar. The SVT was just more quiet. The system does sound different on both V6's but not that much of a difference. Props to Icey Mike for his comment.

Hey, leave Cardoc alone, he's trying to sell the "Cardoc special" exhaust!

:p

But seriously, there are a lot of little things people do to tune their exhaust notes to their liking. To each his own.
