Some poor young Canadian girl bought a '96 SE
5 speed and has had so many problems, she has set up her own website warning people to stay away from Fords in general and Contours specifically.

She has a long list of complaints and is apparently contemplating legal action. The punchline is that she recently discovered a her most serious problems arose because she had a remote starter incorrectly installed and it f**cked everything up.

the way i understood this is that all along her problems came from the remote starter. Also in her list of things replaced she had her resonator replaced, now why the fuk would you replace the resonator. I don't think the car is a lemon, it's the ford dealer trying to make money off her by replacing things that don't need to be replaced since she doesnt know **** about cars. The replacement of the cats is probably due to the engine misfires caused by the remote starter.

Her whole problem was the remoter starter. She should have a lemon site devoted to the store that installed it.

Nice

She shot all kinds of holes in the "ignorance is bliss theory", didn't she. I mean she feels that the starter isn't her problem because the dates are wrong and the letter "seems poorly written". That letter is exactly what I would expect from a repair shop. It told her the situation, the problems, the solutions, and the main source of her headaches. I mean what did she excpect a Phd in Engligh typing letters for a repair shop?

Am I the only one that sees her wheel bearing problem as something great than just faulty wheel bearings. They are taking her for a ride!
