Alright...I don't have much more money to spend on the Rx-7, so I nned your guys help on what I need now and what can wait till March 9th(my B-day)

The one thing I REALLY need is of course a clutch, RB Street/Strip is about $290.

Also need RB Streetport exhaust, but its about $700!!! eek

Need sway bars $300

Need helemet $100

Hawk HP plus front pads $62

13" tires $175 shipped from Tire Rack

And all kinds of various other crap like GSL rearend with LSD and disks, but that means buying new rear pads. Need to get my flywheel resurfaced cheap. Need SS brake and clutch lines.
And eventually a light weight flywheel, and Yaw Carb with upgraded fuel pump and regulator.

I'm thinking I'll go ahead and get the clutch then ask every relative I know to chip in for sway bars and helmet.

Hey James and Chris let me know what you think, I've never raced an Rx-7 before, not really sure where to start upgrading confused

Well I've pretty much given up on that guy...Hasn't answered E-mails...luckily it was a cash on delivery deal so I'm not out anything.

And the reason I'm leaning toward the Racing Beat setup is because it's a proven HP adder, quiet enough for street use, sounds GREAT, and it's quality has been proven time and again. I might just get RB header and power pulse muffler with custom straght pipe run between them. Didn't really want to fool with a muffler shop though.

Scrap all the above ideas and get this:

Already has major suspension set up and fuel cell. Just drop in your engine and go! I think this is a heck of a deal. Especially since you have the parts to put it together.

I dunno I think he already has that invested into the suspension of his car (granted it's not put togethor yet) that really wouldn't gain him much. If he had already done alot of engine work that would be the way to go. But really I think his suspension will be setup a little nicer than that after all is said and done.

Yea with that Xtra $500 that you didn't spend on the "Streetport Exhaust" You could prolly get a street port done and have more power than jsut hte exhaust anyway!!!
