Thanks for all the compliments! I chose the location and shape because it matches EXACTLY to the part of the SVT airbox that bolts to the inner fender under the hood. This is the same piece you hook the neoprene KKM hose to.
We did this out of my friend's shop and they're thinking of marketing it. They'd take new Ford fenders, modify them (paint 'em too if needed) and ship 'em out. It would be a direct fender swap with no modifications needed. I've had her at highway speeds in a torrential downpour with no problems-- the drain system works great.
