But, overall, good job! The Z3 vents are for heat displacement. This hole in the fender is for air intake. The Z3 vents would need to be facing the other way to accomplish this.

Thanks for all the compliments! I chose the location and shape because it matches EXACTLY to the part of the SVT airbox that bolts to the inner fender under the hood. This is the same piece you hook the neoprene KKM hose to.
We did this out of my friend's shop and they're thinking of marketing it. They'd take new Ford fenders, modify them (paint 'em too if needed) and ship 'em out. It would be a direct fender swap with no modifications needed. I've had her at highway speeds in a torrential downpour with no problems-- the drain system works great.
As for the next meet, just let me know-- I'd love to meet with you all!

Quick question, did you do the same on the other side of the car to make it look symmetrical?

Hey, thanks. No, I only did the one side that's functional. Can't see both sides of the car at the same time anyhow, right?

This all started because someone backed into my 'tour and broke the bumper cover. I figured while we were fixing it at my friend's shop we might as well cut the hole in the fender. It was done without removing the fender.
What they would do is use mine as a template to modify genuine Ford fenders. They'll probably sell them ready-to-paint or already painted using factory color codes. All you would have to do is remove your old fender and put the new one on and install the mesh screen (2 bolts). Even if you paid a body shop to do it, it wouldn't take too long.
They're a full customizing/restoration shop so it's not some hack-it-up outfit. I'll get details for you as soon as I can.
