LOL - hoax - you guys are funny. No, the scoops are real - that is unless we are *really* living in a photoshop world. He (Kris) did cut a hole or two under the scoops and the colour is not matched well. They generally need more work before they will look professional.
Not to my taste either - I just took and posted the pics for him....

I think it looks good. If it were mine, I think 2 black racing stripes going over the scoops and to the back would help it look better. Just my .02

I think it's a real pic and everything, not a photochop. Maybe why some of you are thinking that is because it just looks "out of place". It just doesn't look right. They look too big for the hood and make it a cluster f##k IMHO. Kudo's for doingit and if you like it then great Stick with it. But not my thing at all.

Nice man. I'm more into the single NACA duct along the driver's side at the front, but the dual scoops are WAY aggressive! T.

I never said anything about photoshop. We sell those same hood scopps where I work, they are made by LUND. The pic looks the holes aren't cut-out... -Mark

i guess there will always be sceptics when a great work of art has been performed..
yes they are lund scoops, it was a ***** to cut out the "scoop" area to let air into the engine compartment, and yes i do have a very large (kinda) hole in my hood underneath the scoop drawing air into the engine compartment, it is right over the battery, i will be getting them moulded onto the hood and repainted and stuff, they look cooler in person (contrary to daves comments..)
and again, i like them they look cool (imo)
i think the racing stripe idea is frickin cool, i think i will pursue that train of thought... then i wont have to get the hood repainted just the stripes.. i dunno about black though

I know how to settle this.
We need pics with the hood up.

 Looks very '60s or (early) '70s to me. I think a few of the GM muscle cars had dual hood scoops like this. To each their own.

Kris, huge points for originality. It's your car dude...
Question: would the Mystique hood be a direct fit? If so a single recessed scoop (like the Mustang scoop), following the Mystique lines, might be a sweet mod.
Just a thought...
