My LX is a Zetec, all the people that are saying it should bolt right on are the ones that think it's a duratec, thats why it doesnt quite reach, unless the cat is just closer to the flange on the SVT exhaust compared to my stock. I dont know, i havent really held it up to my car, or in that case take off my existing exhaust to even try it. everything i have gained so far is from sight and my own opinion, probably a bad thing.

Installing an SVT exhaust on a zetec involves extending the length of the pipe so that the flange would bolt up properly. There's a picture of it somewhere in the zetec forum, so use the search feature to find it.

Search the Zetec forums for 'svt exhaust installed on friday' I believe that's the topic I posted the pics under. $75 included everything that was done. Photopoint isn't working or I'd just post them here, sorry. laugh And yes, the fact that you have a Zetec is why the exhaust is too short. The V6 extended rearward more because of the rear header coming down into the exhaust.
