So I took Cory's old exhaust off his hands after contemplating it for a few months. It took me an hour and a half to get to his house when it should have been 45 minutes tops, but thats a diff story. SO neway im in the process of putting this exhaust on my LX. here are my dilemas: 1)the pipe after the cat doenst extend long enough to reach where it needs to connect, so i just put a piece of straight pipe in the SVT exhaust, clamped it after the flange, so it stays in, and i plan on doing that to connect it to the car. my other dilema is that my frame wasnt made to hold duel exhaust, and there isnt a place to put a normal hanger so im going to have to rig one up, and when I end up doing these things, something goes wrong. Anyone else know problems im going to come in contact with just so im prepared, and any suggestions or help?

The SVT exhaust should be a direct bolt on, if you use the right parts. I was working at a Ford dealer when I added it to my '95 LX Duratec. Try these part numbers: F8RZ*5277*AA Bracket $22 F5RZ*5E241*A Gasket $5 F8RZ*5A262*AA Insulator $4 F5RZ*5A262*C Insulator $6 Mark

Mine cost 75 at an exhaust shop. The pipe should be long enough if you have a duratec. BTW, I've got that gasket if you want it.

Basically i dont know jack so neone want to tell me what hes talking about? Sounds like he's the one that needs some moisture blown out... BTW, your LX a Zetec or Duratec? Could explain your fitment problem...
