I have had my 98 contour se 2.5 5 speed for a year and want to add some performance parts. I read all of these topics but dont know which are best. Im not exacty a mechanic but want my car to perform. Can you guys give me a list of mods to make, price, and the improvment the mod makes. Id greatly appreciate it and i think many others in my shoes would too.

KKM induction kit is a quick and easy way to start (100 bucks) or you can get a K&N filter instead (50)

Plugs and wires can always help.

Those are relativly easy and cheap. Work on getting the air out of your car first (my opinion) ie. Headers, y-pipe, hi-flow cat or no cat, better mufflers etc..
