Hello,
I was looking on autotrader.com for an SVT Contour and a good deal on one came up in Bartlett, TN. I am very interested in it and was wondering if anyone knew whose it used to be or if the dealer is reputable? It is a 2000 black/blue CSVT, spoiler, moonroof, 24k miles. It is at "Sunrise Pontiac GMC at Wolf Chase." I emailed them and they said it was a trade in from a local UPS employee. Any info you could help me with would be greatly appreciated!!! smile

thanks,

Steve

I called about the Black SVT because I couldn't believe the price on it. It's a 2000 SVT Black for 12,995. It's practically still brand new. Get it if you have the chance. I was going to get it but, I thought about all the money I have in mine and I figured why not just keep it....hurry up and pay if off and then by another one and have 2. I live in Portland,Tn and I am about 2 hours away from Bartlett. It's a really good deal that you should look into

Thanks for the replies guys! I actually prefer the T-red but there don't seem to be to many for sale, especially up here in New Hampshire. I had a 98 t-red that I sold a few months ago and am kicking myself in the butt for doing so. mad The Protege5 is nice but it just isn't doing it for me. Suprisingly it handles quite well, but the power is lacking. It will become the fiance's car!

JPS3,
Where is Bill Collins Ford? Do they have a website where I can take a look?

Being in NH, I can't just stop by the dealer. I am really interested in this black one, but don't know how I could get it back here. Should I fly down and drive it back or should I ship it? Does anyone know how much shipping it would cost?

Sorry about all of the questions, but I have never thought about buying a car from so far away before. Thank you for all of your input! smile

Steve

I would think that I would probably fly down and drive it back. I would think that the shipping would be way expensive. Bill Collins Ford is in Louisville, Ky. I'll try to find their website for you.

here is the link to their used cars, but the SVT isnt listed as such and also isnt listed under contours, so you would need to search for ford and 1998 and i think that it is the second to last one. they have it listed at 15995, but they would likely take less as it has been there a long time. 25k miles, too. link
