I dont know much about HIDs but i was wondering if this would be eerything that I would need: hid
This would probably not be hard to do it would seem, i just wanted to know. Are these similar to what you have on the Mark, James?

Those lights require a ballast. I didn't see it in the pics. They normally run $900 or better. The best I could tell was that they were only selling the bulbs. Cindy want to take a shot? Cindy replaced her lights with HID. eek

THOSE ARE NOT HID'S real HID's require a ballast and will come with all the necessary wiring to hook them up. Those are replacement bulbs that give the "look" of HID's (still not exat but pretty close) I used to run bulbs similar to those inthe truck before it went and started blowing bulbs left and right mad mad

I'm running a similar bulb and that is a good price though! I paid $30 for mine in New Albany. eek

James bought me a kit on ebay that upgraded to actual HID's (lights, ballasts, etc.) I had high beam super whites in the car and these make them look dim. We have a picture after installing just one, I'll get it posted. The HID kit for the Lincoln was $650, that included to new headlight housings. The kit for the Contour was under $400. It is a pricey thing, but it does improve visibility and give a custom look.
