Search the archives and you'll find countless cases of this.. I've warned enough people, but no one seems to listen, but all eventually will put a resonator back in, because it makes long drives pretty annoying.

I myself haven't heard the car w/o mufflers, but I'm guessing it can't be too bad, as they're pretty straight-through mufflers to begin with, so I doubt they do much of a muffling job.. If you're looking for extra power though, you're looking in the wrong place, even an aftermarket cat-back is only going to give you 7-8hp tops..

I have a removed resonator, and I love it.
when it's cold it rasps alot, which is the only problem. As it warms up it sounds great. It is loud, but only when you get on the gas hard or let off and use engine braking. The most drone comes with engine braking. Long drives aren't annoying for me (I live 30 mins from the closest major town), the car is basically silent. (, about as much noise as any car I've driven with a cat-back.)

The couple of horsepower is supposed to be dyno proven. I imagine that the resonator removal adds more than the muffler removal. I've heard a muffler-less SVT and think it's too quiet.
