Just saw a guy in a Tempo GL with the following bumper sticker:

"I rather be driving a titleist"

With me behind him, I would have prefered the Titleist.

Just found that amusing and thought I would share.

Yeah, I had a 2 door '89 Tempo. Man I loved that car, so quit laughing

Looks like you got me back Joe. Today on my way to lunch the car suddenly dies at the light at Hurstbourne and Ormsby Station. When to restart but the car won't go into gear. Look like I lost the clutch. She's on here way back to the dealer as we speak.

BTW - Anyone know who drives a silver SVT with after martket wheels and exhaust tips here in town? Pulled up beside me at the light, revs the engine and takes off. Rude.

Sorry to hear that, I would guess the clutch is considered a wear item and not covered under warranty. Oh well, time for a UR clutch, Quaife LSD and a lightened flywheel

Well Pat has seen a silver SVT with a NOS bottle on his A pillar, and I ran into a black SVT with a huge "Contour SVT" across his rear bumper and big SVT stickers behind each front wheel. Me and Pat also ran into another silver SVT on the highway but the woman driving it seemed pretty clueless, maybe it's her husbands car?

Had a silver one with a giant Ford Oval sticker in its back window shoot through the parking lot at work today. (Yes, pun intended) I actually see quite a few SVT's a week. Just not anyone that ever acts too friendly.

Oh well.
