well after reading the repair manual, I figured about 2-3 hours. I think it took about 3 hours to change out the pump. And about another hour or so to make sure everything was done and get the cooling system full again.
It wasn't really hard. But it was just a lot of stuff to do. Ya, compared to most cars, this was a breeze! The hardest part was getting one of the hoses back on. The long hose that goes from the pump and turns down into the top of the block (below the throttle body) was kind of a pain.

here's kind of an interesting thing about it. The pump from batinc.net and spmotorsports.com shows just the pump half, NOT the housing (which is what my biggest problem was). The pump that I got from Ford had the pump, gasket, back housing, and the two big hoses all as one part, all put together eek and it only cost me $64 bucks! I also had to replace the 3 torque to yeild bolts, so the total cost of parts was $66 dollars even.
