Thanks for the post. I have experienced the same frustrating lack of lumbar support with my 99 SE. I took the seat cover off a few times trying to make a change for the better, but no luck. I will have to try your technique.

Questions:

What does the lumbar adjuster look like? Is it a flipper handle, or a knob a la the 95-97 Tours?

What was the cost?
