It's too bad that these things happen to so many other people. What happened with the blazer is a new one for me. What's funny, actually now that I think about it it's not that funny but, is the fact that I was about to buy a new security system for the car about a month ago but I thought nah, that wouldn't happen to me. Yet another shining moment of stuipidty for me. Now I get to put that five hundred towards the deductible to get the car fixed, I really need to quit learning the hard way The reason it is costing a grand is because 1- they pried on the door with a screwdriver bending the flashing around the window. 2- the glass broke. 3- they had to take apart the dash to get to the vents because the glass went into them. 4- the shop is cleaning up the glass for me because I don't have much time to do that stuff anymore. 5- they need to repaint that side because when the glass fell it cut through the paint to the metal, I really don't want a car one year old to start rusting especially since I have a 53' jeep with no rust on it, that just wouldn't seem right At least these are material things that can be fixed. I think it might be time for the alarm. Does anyone have any alarm systems that you would recomend or have had good luck using?
