What about alarms? They don't scare these guys away?
I mean, if your alarm didnt go off...that coulda MAYBE saved ya...just wondering
It helped me actually. My window was cracked while some idiot was trying to get into my car. I had nothing visible but when you have tinted windows, people do assume you *might* have something to hide...my stereo. He was peeling the rubber insulation around the window when he (accidentally?) chipped the window, which cracked all the way through and set off my alarm...my stereo was still there when i got back from class(Pioneer KEH-7800)...so i guess it saved my ass sort of...
Hell, if i am sitting in my car unlocked without starting the engine for more than 30-60 seconds (i forget) the alarm initializes, and any motion makes the led flicker more rapidly. If i even take out my cd player deck, move my seat, shake the car, move my steering wheel, mirrors, the alarm goes off...it even goes off if i open the door while the ignition is on if i wait long enough before starting it initially...
Kinda pisses me off sometimes actually
