I had pretty much the same thing happen to me a couple months ago. I had about $50 in cash in my glove box, but they did not touch that. They went straight for my stereo. These guys were pretty good, they actually TOOK THE WINDOW OUT rather than breaking it! Of course it shattered on the way out, or while he was setting it on the ground. (tint held it together) By the way, they did not get anything because after he actually got in the car the alarm went off.
It only cost me 200 to get the window replaced, and about 75 for the track. I think maybe 1000 is a little steep....?
